1. Introduction

Welcome to CanisX (“CanisX,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of the CanisX mobile applications, websites, and any content, functionality, or services offered through them (collectively, the “Services”). By downloading, installing, or using the Services you agree to these Terms.

3. Eligibility

You must be 18 years or older to use the Services. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.

4. Account Registration

You agree to provide accurate information during registration and to keep your login credentials secure.

5. Description of the Services

• 24/7 AI Chat Coach (“Clara”) – conversational guidance covering canine health, nutrition, and exercise.
• AI-Powered Analyses – photo-based assessments (gums, skin, stool) and symptom triage.
• Personalised Wellness Plans – tailored diet and exercise recommendations.
• Subscription & Credit Model – monthly or annual subscriptions with optional credit top-ups.
• Data Residency – primary storage in the United States.

6. Free Trial, Billing & Refunds

Free trial: Three-day trial; cancel at least 24 hours before expiry to avoid charges.
Billing: Monthly or annual auto-renew with introductory pricing locked for 12 months.
No refunds: Fees are non-refundable unless required by law or platform policies.

EU 14-day withdrawal right: EU consumers may cancel within 14 days of purchase if the paid service has not been consumed. Use Apple’s “Report a Problem” flow or email support@canisx.com.

7. User Content & Licence

You grant CanisX a worldwide licence to host, analyse, and use your uploads to operate and improve the Services, including AI model training.

8. Prohibited Conduct

• Reverse‑engineer, scrape, or interfere with the Services.
• Upload illegal, violent, or explicit content.
• Rely on the Services for emergency veterinary care.

10. Medical Disclaimer

Guidance is informational and does not replace professional veterinary advice.

11. Warranty Disclaimer

The Services are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind.

12. Limitation of Liability

Our total liability is limited to the greater of USD 100 or the amounts you paid during the preceding 12 months.

13. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify CanisX against claims arising from your use of the Services.

14. Modifications

Material changes take effect 30 days after notice is provided.

15. Dispute Resolution

Informal first: Email chushul@canisx.com and allow 30 days for resolution.
Governing law: Indian law with exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Bangalore, Karnataka.
Class-action waiver: You waive class claims to the extent permitted by law.

16. Export Compliance

You agree to comply with applicable Indian and U.S. export laws.

17. Survival

Sections 7, 10–13, and 15–17 survive termination of the Services.

18. Force Majeure

We are not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control.
