2. Data We Collect

We collect the same categories of data described in Sections 3.1–3.3 of the prior policy, including account information, photos and videos you upload, in-app wellness inputs, diagnostic outputs, payment details, and technical analytics.

3. How We Use Data

We process personal data to deliver and improve the Services, honour our contract with you, pursue legitimate interests (like product analytics and safety), and comply with consent requirements where applicable.

4. Sharing & Recipients

We share data with trusted partners such as cloud hosting providers, AI infrastructure vendors, payment processors, customer-support tools, and analytics platforms—each bound by confidentiality and data-processing agreements.

5. International Transfers

Primary storage is located in the United States. Team members in India access data under Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent safeguards where legally required.

6. Retention

Account data is deleted within 30 days of closure. Photos, chat history, and wellness records are retained to preserve each dog’s care history unless you request deletion.

7. Security

We use TLS encryption, AES‑256 storage, least‑privilege access controls, and periodic penetration testing to keep your information safe.

8. Cookies & Tracking

CanisX uses first-party cookies and third-party pixels (including Meta and Google). Adjust your browser settings or email us to manage tracking preferences.

9. Your Rights

• Request access, correction, deletion, or portability of your personal data.
• Opt out of marketing communications or make a California “Do Not Sell or Share” request.
• Object to AI model training or ask us to delete training data by emailing support@canisx.com.

We respond to verified requests within 30 days.

10. EU 14-Day Withdrawal

EU consumers may withdraw from a purchase within 14 days if the paid service has not been consumed. Use Apple’s “Report a Problem” flow or email us to exercise this right.

11. Children

The Services are intended for users aged 18 and above. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.

12. AI Model Training Disclosure

User uploads may be leveraged to improve CanisX machine-learning models under strict confidentiality obligations.

13. Changes

Material updates to this policy will be communicated at least 30 days before they take effect.
